Moon 854, and introduction . . .
The above photograph is my most famous photograph. It was snapped by Thunderbird Crew Chief Dave Norton back in 1969, in Viet Nam, during the war. I’m holding my M60 machine gun, as I was a permanent crewmember of the prestigious Thunderbird Smokeship, Pollution IV.
By the way, today is National Viet Nam Veteran Appreciation Day. The best support this veteran receives is beyond words, it is a purchase of any of my VN War related books or DVD, found at: www.brianwizard.com. Go to my website, www.brianwizard.com, select any product, then in the coupon/discount box type . . . veteran . . . and you’ll get $5 off.
This blog is about me, the things I have done, do, and might do, as well as the artworks I create, the way I live, work, and play. My writing in this blog may be deep, shallow, in jest, or absolutely serious.
I personally like to break my life up into moon cycles. Today, March 31st, I am living under my 854th moon since birth. I am 24,023 post-womb days old.
This blog will run from moon cycle to moon cycle. Twenty-eight days in each cycle might give me four posts, one a week. No promises on that. As a cycle moves through its phases, I’ll be noting things like, Featured Book of the Cycle, Astrological influences of the Cycle, Cycle Fun, Cycle Business, Moon influences. Artworks of the Cycle (previously made and on display for sale, and works in progress) and a bit on my eccentric lifestyle.
Now you have an idea of what this blog will be. Take advantage of my $5 off veteran discount. This makes a $6 ebook a mere dollar.
Cheers,
